Our crew inflates the balloon envelope with precision, starting with cool air from ground fans and then adding gentle burner heat to bring it upright; clear hand signals keep lines tidy and the area safe.
Safety checks are completed before lift-off, including envelope and burner inspections, radio tests, weight and balance review, and a short passenger briefing on stance, handles, and landing posture.
Chase & Landing
Chase vehicles track your flight via GPS and radio, choosing accessible roads and staying in contact with the pilot so they can pre-position near likely landing fields as conditions evolve.
The team assists with a smooth landing by guiding the basket clear of obstacles, securing the envelope quickly, and offering clear instructions and a friendly debrief while the pilot confirms conditions are stable.
Pack-Down & Return
After landing, we gather the envelope and lines methodically, folding fabric to keep it clean and dry while checking wear points; gates are left as found and landowner courtesy is always observed.
Return transport brings you back to the meeting point in comfort, while the crew loads equipment, confirms any photos or personal items, and shares timing for follow-up messages or next-day weather updates.
